Mariah Carey has spoken to MTV News to deny rumours
that her marriage to Nick Cannon is in crisis.
Some recent reports suggested that Mimi and Nick were having problems
just a few months after their wedding.
But Carey said:
"It's good, Life is beautiful, and things are going well."
When asked what she thought of the rumours Mariah said:
"I'm like, 'Why would we have gotten married to do that?
People are going to say what they say, but what would be the purpose?
I guess other people do those things for a purpose, but I don't know.
I'm ecstatic, so be ecstatic with me! Be happy with me. Can we celebrate?"
The Touch My Body singer also told MTV she wants a coveted moonman statue.
“My house is not complete without an American Moonman,
and I would say Touch My Body deserves one.
Brett Ratner directed it, I have a unicorn in there— who else has that?"
